Cocoa Butter

Refined butter obtained from the fruit of the Cocoa tree. From its beans, the butter is extracted and further processed and refined to obtain a scent-free butter. Solid and hard at room temperature, it will melt on contact with the skin. When adding butters to creams and lotions, gently warm until the texture is soft enough to be incorporated into the final product. Always test a small amount before creating a large batch.

Recommended usage:

• Lotions & Creams: 2 - 20 %  • Balms: 5 – 100 % 
• Bar Soaps: 5 - 20 %  • Hair Conditioners: 1 – 10 %

CAUTION: Overheating this product will impact its delicate fragrance. Please melt at as low a heat as possible while stirring gently, and use as soon as it is melted.

SHELF LIFE: Slow to go rancid, store below 18°C and keep away from light. Shelf life is up to 24 months from the date of manufacture. 
Refrigeration is recommended.
