Our company has been in the beeswax business since 1959. We have learned so much from bees and come to realize how reliant we as humans are on them. While one of bees’ primary functions in nature is the pollination of plant life, they also share with us some of the products of their labors in the form of beeswax, honey, pollen, propolis etc. Among its many applications, beeswax can be transformed into candles. Beeswax is used as an art medium by encaustic artists, as a constituent in skin care products and is the primary ingredient of Beeswax food wraps being used in many kitchens around the world today as the eco-friendly alternative to plastic wrap
Percy, our sheet making machine, has been transforming solid beeswax into honeycomb and flat sheets for well over 70 years. These natural and colored sheets are easy to roll into pure beeswax candles.
In 1984, Wicks and Wax added paraffin waxes to our product line and we have continued to expand since then. Today we offer a wide variety of paraffin and microcrystalline waxes, beeswax, soy waxes, and many other plant based waxes and wax additives.
