Materials:
- 200g Citric Acid
- 600g Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda)
- Witch Hazel
- Essential Oil or Soap Scent
- Soap Dye
- Spray Bottle
- Metal or hard plastic Mold
- Optional: Epsom Salts, Dried Flowers, Embeds
Method:
- Blend citric acid and sodium bicarbonate (Ratio 1:3 Citric Acid:Sodium Bicarbonate)
- After blending well add any optional dry ingredients
- In a spray bottle mix liquid ingredients together (15ml total)
– approximately 5ml witch hazel, 5ml water, 5ml scent and a few drops of soap dye - Slowly spray the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients, mixing well. If the mixture fizzes or foams, you may be adding the liquid too quickly
- When the mix resembles wet sand, quickly pack firmly into molds. Fill each half of the bath bomb mold with the mixture until it slightly overflows. Press together, then gently remove one side of the mold. Invert the bath bomb to completely remove from mold.
- Bath bombs need to be dried (out of the mold) for 8 hours or overnight
