Whipped Candles

Materials Needed

Instructions

1. Melt Wax

Follow the standard method for melting wax, considering all precautions. Allow the wax to cool until a thin film forms on the surface. Use a wire whisk to rapidly whip the wax into a froth. The faster the whipping, the fluffier the wax becomes.

Note that whipped colored wax will appear much lighter than poured colored wax.

2. Applying Whipped Wax

Whipped wax should be applied immediately before it hardens. It can be used in three different ways:

Method 1. Apply with a spoon to a candle or place into a dish. Ensure the wick is inserted before the whipped wax sets.

Method 2. Spread whipped wax on a candle using a spatula.

Method 3. Use a fork to apply whipped wax to a candle.

Method 4. Dip the candle into the whipped wax for an even coating.

Enjoy your candles!
